I’m committed to music that reveals your inner self, music that reminds you of your desire for truth and freedom.” German Toni Hoffmann claims to be not just inspired but rather brought to life by the music of American Singer/Songwriter Jeff Buckley. As a result he is capable of going into a similar intense presence during his live performances. He is one of those artists who want to take the audience into a very special and intimate atmosphere. The Toni Hoffmann Band was founded together with Rob Vitacca (drums) in 2009 – who by the way is also frontman of germany's famous LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE – when they recorded a four-song demo and published it on the internet. Compositions like “Land floating fish” or “Would you mind me” have been appealing to many music lovers all over the world. Since then, they have won several band contests, amongst others the “Rampe 2010” at “Jazzhaus Freiburg”. The band is currently working on their debut album and will record 14 songs. The album will be available in April 2011.
